More on magnetism was revealed.
The three parts of an electromagnet, their uses, and how to increase/decrease their power were discussed.
The beginnings of electromagnetism were introduced, including information on the discoveries of HC Oersted and Michael Faraday.

We covered the causes and effects of solubility and the solution process. Saturation and the solubility curve graph were introduced, as well as the mechanisms for speeding up the solution processes.

Marking the Vernal Equinox, we began our discussion on magnetism, including:

• the cause of magnetism
• how magnetic poles are arranged
• the domain theory of magnetism
• Earth's magnetic field
• how magnetic field lines of force are drawn

Marking the Vernal Equinox, we discussed how to dilute stock, high-molarity acids and bases into a more functional, lower-molarity volume.
They were asked to complete the following problems by Monday:
pp. 479-486 # 6, 9, 13, 17, 22, 24, 25, 26

Section 7.2 was discussed, including the flow of electricity and the qualities that allow for low-resistance electrical flow.

The beginning of section 14.1 was introduced (lightly) due to the early absences for the GHSGT.
