We will be beginning our last unit in printmaking on Dry Point Etching today.
Your assignment is to illustrate your greatest fear. Please look at the Goya, Schongauer, Durer as examples. You will have a drawing due Monday including the value added. The piece will be 8.5x11. Below is an image from Schongauer.
Students are working on their 10 piece photo portfolio that is due the day of the final exam Wednesday May 19 from 10:20-12:25.
Sketchbooks for this assignment are due Monday May 10th at the end of class.
Any late work or work that is being redone for a better grade is due the day of the exam. You have the opportunity to fix or redo any assignment you are not happy with.
Students began their selfportraits from observation in graphite today. We will be working on these until next week.
Students will be finishing up their AP portfolios this week. This includes uploading all images to website, writing their commentary and matting the quality pieces.
Our exam is Friday in A101 at noon. Please bring your portfolio and your 5 matted and covered quality pieces to the exam. You will also need a number 2 pencil and a pen.
Please eat lunch before the exam and do not be late.
The last assignment that will be due the day of the exam will be a piece to stay at Chattahoochee High School. The piece needs to reflect some aspect of the school experience. It may reflect a sports program or an academic program. The size will be 16x20 and you may use any media.
Your exam date is Thursday May 20th from 8:30-10:20
