Europe Trip Summer 2009
The Graphic Communications and Visual Arts Departments are organizing a trip to Europe this coming summer!! Eligible students are seniors, juniors and honor students. We are working with EF Tours, an educational travel company, who will be organizing this trip for us.
We are scheduled to depart on June 11, 2009, returning on June 22. However, EF Tours requests a 4 day window to ensure all students and group leaders are on the same flight!
Our 12 day trip begins in London, England ....
Day 1 fly overnight to London (leaving from Atlanta)
Day 2 London
Day 3 London
Day 4 Eurostar to Paris, France
Day 5 Paris
Day 6 Paris, night train
Day 7 Florence, Italy
Day 8 Assisi and Rome
Day 9 Rome
Day 10 - 11 Sorrento, Capri
Day 12 depart for US (Atlanta)
The total price ($3,226 for students) includes:
• round-trip airfare
• overnight accommodations in hotels with private bathrooms
• complete European breakfast and dinner daily
• full-time bilingual EF Tour Director
• 7 sightseeing tours led by local guide
• 3 walking tours
• visits to special attractions [Louvre, Notre Dame Cathedral, Duomo, leather-making
demonstration, Assisi Basilica, Sistine Chapel, St. Peter's Basilica, Colosseum, Forum
Romanum, Roman ruins at Pompeii and Capri Island cruise]
• Eurostar high speed train to Paris
To register, you only need $95.00. The $95 goes towards your tour cost. You can, then, enroll in the EF Tours AutoPay which will divide your balance into equal monthly payments.
