The entire week you will be working on your watercolor paintings. They will be due for critique on Thursday Sept. 15th.
Friday Sept. 16 we will begin our next unit on Developing Meaningful Ideas in Imitative Painting.

Monday you have a Sketchbook 2 due "Reflections on what you have learned in the watercolor unit"
Tuesday- Sketchbook 3 you should be working on. Select a watercolor artist from the powerpoint for one on your own. Make a one page spread with 3 images from the powerpoint, who is the artist why did you choose the images you did? Reflect on the work and write about in your sketchbook. Due Wednesday.
Wednesday- work on thumbnail sketches for idea inspired by the artist you selected.
Thursday if you have not finished your thumbnails, finish and you will begin your watercolor piece on Friday in class.
Friday- Studio work day
Monday we will begin our watercolor experiments.
Tuesday- Friday we will be working with watercolor. Monday your sketchbooks are due on what you know about Watercolor
Monday- Your sketchbooks are due "What you know about H2o. If our paint brushes arrive we will be begining our exploration into Watercolor.
Tuesday- Continue Excercises
Wednesday- Find an image from a magazine and reproduce it using all of the techniques you learned in the EXPLORATION.
Thursday and Friday you will be finishing up your images. We will view the powerpoint on Memory and have a class discussion on Memory.
Monday August 29 Sketchbook due on idea. 2 page spread include artisits your are looking at as inspiration and a idea of what you want to do. For this assignment you may use photos or work from observation. You will need a thumbnail drawing for your idea.
