Monday- Students continue to work on drawing objects from observation using black and white charcoal.
Tuesday- Friday Students will be experimenting with materials for their black and white drawings.

Tuesday: Introductions and Getting to Know You. Review of the syllabus, class expectations, fee's and supplies.

Thursday: Demonstration of technique and begin Value scales
HW: Finish value scales due Friday
Friday: Begin Spheres using black and white charcoal. Introduction to objects from observation using black and white charcoal.
HW: Finish Spheres and objects for Monday
Sketchbook Assignment:1 Draw from observation expressive figure or figures using graphite. Two page spread DUE Date: August 28.
