Monday and Tuesday we will be continuing to work on our Lino assignment.

Sketchbooks are now due Wednesday.

Wednesday we will be transfering your image to your plate.

Thursday you will continue to transfer the image if you did not complete it in class on Wednesday. You will then begin the carving of the image and you will be working on that the rest of the week.

This week you are to finish your lino sample and begin working on your sketchbook assignment due this friday.

Relief Prints.ppt

Monday- Sketchbooks are due at the end of the period.

Tuesday- We will be having a critque on your Mono prints and beginning our next unit on Lino.

We will be looking at the artist Kathe Kolwitz, viewing a powerpoint on relief printing and watching a demo on the process.

The rest of the week you will be completing your demo piece on lino it will be due Monday of next week. 

Your next sketchbook assignment  will be researching and composing an image on The

Human Condition. You will be using Kolwitz for inspiration as well as the news papers, internet and other sources.  This assignment is due Wednesday of next week. Feb. 23.

Looks like you all need a few more days to complete your 3 prints. This week you will be finishing up those prints for a critique on Friday.  Monday Feb. 14th I will be introducing our next unit on Lino. 

Sketchbook assignment: Who is Kathe'  Kollwitz and What does the Human Condition mean?  Create a two page spread with images from the artist from this time period, Write what her work was about and print out 5 images from artist write what you find interesting about each image. Due Monday Feb. 14th.
