DP2 students colored pencil piece is due Monday Sept. 20th.

Homework Due: Sept. 24th for Critque

Draw a view of a room using black and white dry media only.  Use a full range of value from black to white.  Work only from direct observation, no photographic reference is permitted, no rulers. Free hand only.  No blending; let the marks show.  no one point perspective;like looking down a railroad track.

Set up in your room or somewhere in the house.  Concider lighting and point of view.  It would be helpful to make a grey scale with the media you choose to use of 10 values.  Do this in your sketchbook.  It would also be helpful to do thumbnail sketches in your sketchbook.

Descriptive Marks:  Marks describe structures, surfaces, textures, atmosphere and light.  make the marks move in the direction that describes the forms that you see.

DP2 may use any media and color.  Same due date of Sept. 24.
