New Homework:"Evidence" Due: Oct. 13
Breadth #6

Assignment: Draw or paint a still - life that is Evidence of your existence. It can deal with your effect on the environment or re-enforce the fact that you do indeed exist. Work from direct observation of life; no photographic reference is permitted.

It would also be helpful to sketch out some thumbnail compositions in the sketchbook and consider value, color, light source, etc. Do not choose the 1st point of view. Play with Point Of View (POV) in your sketchbook until you find the most powerful statement. Scale up to match the format of your larger paper.

Drawing Issues:  Space, light, significant marks
Remember the methods used to create space (relative scale, relative position, atmospheric perspective, relative directions and overlapping). Consider the expressive effect of the space you convey.

Media: open, choice

Size: no smaller than 18" x 24"
