In sketchbook, create a two page spread about the piece of jewelry that you found. Include the following: the image of the original piece of jewelry, detailed reflections on the following: What caught your eye about this piece when searching online? What type of design principles do you see in the piece? How is it balanced? If you had to take a guess, how do you think it was made? What do you like most? Is there anything you do not like about the piece? Why? If you could change anything to make it better, what would you change?
- Wednesday: Finish Journal page today - due at the end of the period. Demo and practice on planning jewelry - explain why drawings are so important and why they need to be so exact. NEED YOUR GRAPH PAPER TODAY - Homework Finish graphing shapes - due tomorrow at the beginning of class
- Thursday: Graphing of shapes due at beginning of class. Draw your original piece of jewelry that you found online. When done, come up with at least 4 ideas for changing it to make it more interesting. Graph each idea out.
