Monday-Thursday you will be in darkroom working on High Contrast.
Tuesday Sept.6 you have a critique on high contrast.
Period 3
Sketchbooks due Monday on Photograms
Monday- Group 2 is in the darkroom making photograms. Groups 1 and 3 will begin making your cameras.
Tuesday- Group 3 is in the darkroom making photograms. Groups 2 and 1 will be working on their cameras.
Wednesday- All photograms are due for a critique.
Thursday- we will all be working on building cameras
Friday- camera
Period 5-
Monday- all sketchbooks are due and group 4 is in the darkroom making photograms. Groups 1-3 will be working on building cameras
Tuesday- Group 1 will be in darkroom working on photograms. Groups 2,3 and 4 will be working on cameras.
Wednesday- Group 2 is in darkroom and everyone else is working on cameras
Thursday- Group 3 is in the darkroom and everyone is working on cameras
Friday-m Group 4 is in the darkroom and everyone is working on cameras.
All photograms are due Monday.
Period 7
Monday- photograms are due
Tuesday-Friday you will be constructing your cameras.
Monday you have a Sketchbook 2 due "Reflections on what you have learned in the watercolor unit"
Tuesday- Sketchbook 3 you should be working on. Select a watercolor artist from the powerpoint for one on your own. Make a one page spread with 3 images from the powerpoint, who is the artist why did you choose the images you did? Reflect on the work and write about in your sketchbook. Due Wednesday.
Wednesday- work on thumbnail sketches for idea inspired by the artist you selected.
Thursday if you have not finished your thumbnails, finish and you will begin your watercolor piece on Friday in class.
Friday- Studio work day
Monday your sketchbooks are due and you have a quiz on the history of photography
I will be presenting the powerpoint on the history of photography and going over photograms.
Tuesday-Friday you will be working in the darkroom to produce one photogram.
Monday we will begin our watercolor experiments.
Tuesday- Friday we will be working with watercolor. Monday your sketchbooks are due on what you know about Watercolor
Ideas are due Monday the 22 and I will be meeting with all of you to discuss your ideas for Memory.
Tuesday and Wednesday you will be working on your sketchbooks that are due Wednesday. Thumbnails, writing, ideas, sketches and any other important information.
You have two pieces due Sept. 6th for critique
Monday- Your sketchbooks are due "What you know about H2o. If our paint brushes arrive we will be begining our exploration into Watercolor.
Tuesday- Continue Excercises
Wednesday- Find an image from a magazine and reproduce it using all of the techniques you learned in the EXPLORATION.
Thursday and Friday you will be finishing up your images. We will view the powerpoint on Memory and have a class discussion on Memory.
Monday August 29 Sketchbook due on idea. 2 page spread include artisits your are looking at as inspiration and a idea of what you want to do. For this assignment you may use photos or work from observation. You will need a thumbnail drawing for your idea.
