Summer Programs for Underclass Students:

            The following schools/organizations have sent us information on summer enrichment programs for 9th -11th grade students.

 

Clemson University - C-CATS ~Challenge for Academically Talented 9th and 10th grade students.  Please let Mrs. Alford know by December 4th if you are interested in participating.

Vanderbilt University - Summer PAVE Program for rising junior students.  Contact Vanderbilt by November 25th, 2009 to have information sent directly to you.

 Sawnee EMC - Washington Your Tour June 10-17, 2010 - Application materials are in the College and Career Center and are due to Sawnee EMC by 5pm on January 29, 2010.  Must be 16 years old by June 1, 2010 to participate.

 Chattahoochee High School Classes

 1. Weekend Classes - Tuition: $450

This course consists of 18 hours of classroom instruction and 3 practice exams.

This course is great for students who can study more on their own and don't need as much "face time" with a teacher. There is bit more homework and independent study involved with this class.

 2. After School Classes - Tuition: $550

This course consists of 24 hours of instruction and 3 practice exams.

- After school classes are offered all year from 4-7pm. 8, 3-hour sessions and 3 practice exams

- This course offers more time with the instructor. This is great for students who want more interaction with an instructor. There is a bit less homework involved.
