2010 OCA Scholarship Program

The OCA-Georgia Chapter is seeking qualified applicants for its 2010 OCA Scholarship Program. Completed applications must be submitted in Word or PDF format to Kevin.Hamada@oca-georgia.org by May 3, 2010 5PM EST.   

Applicants will be evaluated on the basis of their scholastic and personal achievements, leadership, community involvement, work experience, a letter of recommendation and personal essay.  There are four $300 scholarships and one $600 overall achievement scholarship will be awarded.

Here are the general qualifications for the scholarship. 

All full-time graduating high school seniors in good academic standing (minimum GPA 2.75 on 4-point scale, or 3.44 on 5-point scale), of Asian American descent and a college bound high school students in Georgia, who plans to attend an accredited college (2-year and 4-year) or vocational school.

Applicants must be a United States citizen or a permanent resident of the United States.
