Scholarship: $500 Book Scholarship
Eligibility:
Be a high school senior in Spring 2011
Be a Georgia resident and attend a high school in the Atlanta Public School System, Clayton County or Fulton County
Hold a 3.0 Grade point average or higher
Be active in community service (i.e. church, school, service organization, volunteering, mentoring, etc.)
**Please submit complete Application Packet postmarked by Friday, March 4, 2011**
A Complete application packet includes the following items:
Scholarship Application filled out completely
500-word Essay
High School Transcripts
Two Letters of Recommendation
**Two letters of recommendation from non-family members. A person who can verify your community service must write one of the letters. All recommendations should be on the organization's letterhead where applicable.
