The National Association of Professional Women not only promotes career success for the women of today's workforce, but also encourages the success of the future generation of professional women. That is why, each year we will award 5 aspiring young women a $1000 scholarship to use towards her college tuition. The NAPW Rising Stars Education Scholarship is designed to help deserving students attain their educational goals, meet their professional objectives, and succeed to their fullest ability.

Applications for The NAPW Rising Stars Education Scholarship for the 2010-2011 school year will be accepted from January 15, 2010 through March 15, 2010 (deadline).

Student Registration: 

Online student registration is highly encouraged for this College Fair!

Requesting information from multiple colleges/universities at this College Fair just got a whole lot easier. Students who pre-register and bring their barcoded printout with them to the Fair will not have to fill out information cards on site! Excellence in Leadership Award

The deadline for our Excellence in Leadership Award is this Friday (January 15).  Amounts of the award vary based on each student's criteria and interview that will take place on Leadership Day (exact date in February; to be announced). Requirements for this scholarship are:

ü      Must be unconditionally admitted to TROY by the deadline

ü      3.0 GPA and 22 ACT (Composite of four core sections) or 1030 SAT (Critical Reading + Math)

ü      Must submit the online scholarship application by the deadline

ü      Must submit a resume by mail, postmarked by the deadline, or by fax (334-670-3733), received in our office by 5:00 p.m. Central Time on the deadline

When evaluating test scores for awarding scholarships, we "superscore" or "stack" subscores of multiple attempts of the same test.

TROY Tours and Trojan Day

The Spring will be filled with opportunities for your students to come visit our campus!  Remember that we give personal campus tours to students and their families, as well as small groups and counselors, on weekdays at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. (Central Time).  We also have some Saturdays this semester available for visits:

  • TROY Tours: January 23, February 20, and April 17
  • Trojan Day: March 27

Will be awarded to a class of 2010 Chattahoochee High School Varsity letterman (male or female) who exemplifies outstanding character, high integrity and a strong sense of team spirit that were such positive attributes of Ryan Boslet.  The student athlete needs to excel academically in addition to demonstrating the "heart of a champion" characteristics in varsity athletic competition.

 

Applications are only available in the College & Career Center and must be returned to Mrs. Alford no later than April 23, 2010.  Late applications will not be accepted.  The winner will be announced at CHS Commencement Ceremony and the $2000 award will be sent directly to the scholarship winner's college or university.

gives annual scholarships to graduating seniors who intend to register in a full time course of study at a college, university, technical or vocational school for the 2010-2011 academic year.  The application is available in the College & Career Center and is also available at 'About Us' on our website - www.roswellwomansclub.org.  Our organization raises funds for these scholarships at our annual Showcase Home Tour which takes place from March 4 through March 28 of this year.
 
Scholarship applications are due to Mrs. Alford in the College & Career Center no later than Thursday, February 18th.  Late applications will not be accepted.  Chattahoochee High School has had a scholarship awarded to one of its students for the past three years.

Shell sponsors up to 20 one year awards of $2500 for graduating high school seniors enrolling in engineering or geosciences fields at universities identified by Shell.  This year's schools include:

The Sweet-diggity-dawg Scholarship!

Zinch.com, the company connecting young people to academic opportunities, is hosting its 3rd Annual Sweet-diggity-dawg $20k Scholarship.

The Sweet-diggity-dawg Scholarship is one of the most exciting scholarships offered to students today.

Each year, Zinch selects the semi-finalists based on their Zinch profile. Semi-finalists then compete, March-Madness style, in a bracket of 64 students. These students go head-to-head, with the best Zinch profile advancing, until one student remains to claim the $20k prize.

Students who wish to compete must meet the following guidelines:

  1. Be a current high school student (c/o 2010-2013)
  2. With a minimum 2.0 GPA
  3. And have a Zinch.com profile
